Mallory and Boone are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. It is hard to deny the love they have for each other. I have had the privilege of knowing these two for about two years now. They are a beautiful couple and are so supportive of each other in all of their adventures.
I love going to antique stores. I had a couple projects in mind and decided an antique store would be my best option. There are several to choose from in my area, but only one really stuck out. There were a couple stores that were extremely overpriced and not what I was looking for. (thrift store) was the best one. They have so much space with so much to offer. They have different sections that different people sell from, but everything flows really well together. As much as I love going to antique stores, its also very hard. It takes so much self control not to over buy! As an artist I could totally find a use for anything, meaning I want to buy everything! So I went into (store name) with a list of my projects so that I could remain focused and only get what I needed.
When Kevin and I first moved into our apartment, decorating was not one of our top priorities. Unpacking was hard enough, our only goal was to not live out of boxes anymore. After several months of a unorganized, cluttered room I was very ready for a DIY room makeover! At first I wanted to just surprise Kevin with the makeover. After much thought, I realized I would not be able to buy and store all the supplies without him noticing! I talked over the idea with him, and he was super excited about it. We agreed on a budget and I began the planning. He still wanted it to be a surprise, so the only thing he knew was the budget.
If you are anything like me, your makeup is never kept in one spot (and often gets lost). Half my makeup will be in our bedroom, while the other half is in the car, my purse or the bathroom. I get ready in many different locations depending on how I am feeling that morning. I have been wanting to do a central makeup/beauty organization board for some time now. I just couldn't decide on the design and what I wanted to include.
I love Washi tape - maybe a little too much! When I was redecorating my husband and I's bedroom, I wanted to keep my craft supplies organized. I am an artist who loves to keep things, just in case one day I might need them (what artist isn't like that?), and that mindset often leads to the hoarding of crafts supplies. So while redecorating, I wanted to make sure my supplies each had a proper "home". I found these items amongst my supplies and played around with them until I figured out what I was going to do with them. I knew I wanted one place to keep my Washi tape, and this design worked out perfect.
